Elephants

I saw these lamps right after I arrived in Bahrain. I liked them but put off buying and not like most things when I went back to the store they had been reduced. Yeah!!!! I like them.

Of course back in the US I will have to have them rewired. Sounds like a project for Bill coming up.

"The Swamp"

I have been looking for an arrangement for my dining room. I have looked several places but they were all too expensive so I decided to make one. I love orchids and sparkles. I saw one similar to this and it was around 250 BD (663 USD) yikes. I looked around until I could find similar items at lower cost. I do have a pretty penny in it but anywhere close to 250 BD.

Bill calls it "The Swamp" you all know his way of naming things.

Orchids are Blooming

I have been trying to get my orchids to bloom again. When I returned from Matt's arrival there were buds on this one. Day before yesterday this bloom opened.

I have them in the dining room window where they get lots of light.

Matt's First Halloween

Matt started the day out as a cute pumpkin.

Then switched to a cowardly lion from the Wizard of OZ.

So cute. His other grandmother made his lion outfit. She is very talented.

Matt's pictures. Juliana had a wonderful young lady photographer come to our house and take pictures of him. She is fantastic. Her name is Lindey Magee. We would highly recommend her to anyone!!!!!!!!!!
